چکیده

Abstract Background An issue of concern to the travelling public is possibility in-flight transmission coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) during long- and short-haul flights. The aviation industry maintains that probability contracting illness small based on reported cases, modelling data from aerosol dispersion experiments conducted on-board aircraft. Methods Using experimentally derived for a B777-200 aircraft modified version Wells-Riley equation we estimate inflight infection range scenarios involving quanta generation rate face mask efficiency. Quanta rates were selected COVID-19 events in literature while efficiency was determined experiments. Results MID-AFT cabin exhibits highest probability. calculated maximum individual (without masks) 2-hour flight this section varies 4.5% ‘Mild Scenario’ 60.2% ‘Severe although corresponding average 0.1% 2.5%. For 12-hour flight, 24.1% 99.6% 0.8% 10.8%. If all passengers wear masks throughout can be reduced by ~73%/32% high/low masks. are worn except one-hour meal service, increased 59%/8% compared situation where not removed. Conclusions This analysis has demonstrated there significant reduction concentration due nature ventilation filtration system, does necessarily mean low or risk infection. However, wearing, particularly high-efficiency ones, significantly reduces risk.

Mathematical Model of Novel COVID-19 and Its Transmission Dynamics

In this paper, we formulated a dynamical model of COVID-19 to describe the transmission dynamics of the disease. The well possedness of the formulated model equations was proved. Both local and global stability of the disease free equilibrium and endemic equilibrium point of the model equation was established using basic reproduction number. The results show that, if the basic reproduction numb...

Dynamic model of COVID-19 disease and performance analysis of Iran, Germany and Turkey with experimental data

Covid-19 disease is caused by a new type of coronavirus, which is an infectious disease that has so far infected more than 90 million people and killed about 2 million. Hygiene programs, treatment, education, restrictions and other preventive measures are the inputs that can limit the spread of the disease, which in turn reduces the incidence of the disease. In this paper, in order to investiga...

A review on some Nutrition-Based Interventions in Covid-19

Covid-19 is an emerging infectious disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 that can be transmitted to humans. There are currently no drugs or vaccines for this disease. In the absence of treatment for this new virus, finding alternative methods to prevent and control the disease is important. Having a well-functioning immune system is essential for the host's defense against pathogenic organisms. Malnutri...
